Set up your My Rental Spot account, add your first property, connect your bank, and start collecting rent — all in under 30 minutes.
Follow these steps to set up your property management account and start managing rentals.
Visit myrentalspot.com and click "Get Started Free". Enter your name, email, and password. Select "Property Manager" as your account type.
Add your company name, phone number, and profile photo. Enter business details in Settings → Company Settings.
Click "Add Property" from your dashboard. Enter address, type (single-family, multi-unit, etc.), and number of units. Add photos and amenities.
Add individual units with bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, and rent amount. This is where you'll assign tenants and track leases.
Go to Settings → Banks & Cards and connect via Stripe Connect to receive rent payments directly. Verification takes 1–2 business days.
Set up due dates, accepted payment methods (ACH, credit/debit), and optionally configure late fees and grace periods.
Go to Residents & Leases → Add Resident. Create a lease using our 50-state templates. Your tenant receives an invitation to join.
