From Frustrated Investor to Software Founder

When I started investing in out-of-state rentals and decided to self-manage my properties, I quickly discovered a problem: no single tool had everything I needed. I was juggling multiple apps for rent collection, tenant screening, maintenance tracking, and communication.

I spent more time switching between platforms than actually managing my properties. The tools that existed were either too expensive, too complicated, or missing critical features. I knew there had to be a better way.

That's when I decided to build My Rental Spot — a platform that brings all the essential property management tools together in one place. A tool built from real experience, designed to solve the actual problems landlords face every day.
