Hi John, I wanted to ask about the renewal offer. Is there any flexibility on the new rent amount?

Hi Sarah! Happy to discuss. The increase is based on market rates, but I could offer a smaller bump if you sign a 14-month lease instead. Want me to send updated options?
John · 3:02 PM
Yes please! That sounds like a good option. Thanks for being flexible! 😊

Communication Tips

Get faster, better responses from your PM.

📝

Be Specific

Include details: what, where, when, how urgent. "Bathroom faucet dripping since Tuesday" is better than "something is leaking."

📸

Attach Photos

A picture is worth a thousand words. Attach photos for maintenance issues, move-in concerns, or document questions.

🔧

Use the Right Channel

For maintenance issues, use the Maintenance Request form instead of messaging — it creates a trackable ticket.

📋

Keep Records

All messages are saved permanently. Use messaging for important conversations you may need to reference later.
